I am so excited to be writing again to tell you about something new we are doing for 2011.

Get Ready For The First-Ever Dog Story Contest!

This is the first time Gifts-For-Dog-Lovers.com has ever had a contest - but we're going to launch it, and I think it will be a really fun, community-building activity.

Starting very soon, I'm going to be hosting a writing contest - and you don't have to be a good writer to win!

Just send in your story about your dog's favorite toy along with a picture, and you will be entered to win two prizes.

All prizes are cash!

First prize is for the best submission.

Second prize will be awarded on a random basis as a thank-you for participating.

Third prize is for the most "popular" story - that gets the most comments!

I hope you will participate! I really look forward to hearing lots of great dog stories from my readers.

The "Theme" is "Your Dog's Favorite Toy" - it could be a traditional toy, like the tennis ball your dog always hides in his "secret" place under the couch. Or it could be a different type of toy - like the fancy shoes you bought for a party that he chewed up!!

More important than sticking to the theme is having a fun and entertaining submission... get your creativity flowing and stay tuned for the announcement of the contest!
