Dog Bark Collars Help Stop Barking!

Dog bark collars can help put a stop to your dog's relentless barking!

If your dog has a barking problem, it can be the ruin of an otherwise good relationship. Neighbors and visitors, not to mention dog owners, only have limited patience with unrelenting, frequent barking jags.

Although many dogs can be trained not to bark and some, in rare instances, can surgically have their vocal chords altered so they CAN'T bark, many pet owners find that they need a quick solution to stop irritating dog barking, especially when they can't be around to monitor the dog and correct his behavior.

Dog bark collars are a great solution to the puzzle of how to handle unreasonable amounts of barking. These collars have a simple device which detects the vibration of a dog's vocal chords and in response create some sort of negative stimulus designed to annoy the dog to point where he doesn't want to bark anymore.

Traditionally electric shock collars have been the common solution to this problem. They work well and can be a blessed relief.

Recently, however, it was found that the citrus smell of citronella was offensive or at least confusing to barking dogs, and a painless citronella collar was found to be an effective barking deterrent. In one study, citronella bark collars were found to be at least as effective as shock collars in controlling dog barking.

I've written an article on citronella dog collars that will give you more information. Or, you may purchase an electric or citronella dog bark collar now, if you're in need of a fast solution.
