Small Sweat-T

Sweat-T

Sweat-T

This is a tip for making your small dog a sleeveless sweatshirt from the sleeve of an adult large sweatshirt. Cut the sweatshirt sleeve at the shoulder, hold it up to the dogs side getting an idea of the length from shoulders to just before back legs. Cut the cuff end off far enough up to allow enough room to stretch comfortably from back of neck to between front legs. Cut holes for front legs and try on to check fit and mark where to cut opposite end. You will want the top side to go across all of back and the under side to stop at where bare belly starts or just beyond. (You do not want the material to touch the back legs, and will need to angle the cut.) The picture will explain. And BTY...Lucy, a year-old Schnauzer who has never had clothes on...loves it!
